Charity Bike Ride

September 2018 will see the fourth season of the Straumann Charity Bike ride in aid of this year’s chosen charity the Mouth Cancer Foundation. Building on the successful fundraising of over £150,000, this year’s ride is bigger than ever with 60+ riders embarking on a 500 mile route in five days spanning from Lake Garda to the Italian cultural capital of Rome.

About this year’s charity

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to helping and supporting those suffering from or at risk of mouth cancerthroat cancer and other head and neck cancers, as well as providing assistance and information on living with mouth cancer for families, friends and carers.

Founded by Dr Vinod K Joshi (BDS, DRDRCS, FDSRCPS, FDSRCS) in 2004, the Mouth Cancer Foundation provides support for mouth, throat and other head & neck cancer patients and promotes Mouth Cancer Awareness in the United Kingdom via information dissemination, fundraising and the provision of support to patients, carers and health professionals.
