About the Straumann
Charity Bike Ride
In September 2022, Straumann will be saddling up again for their Charity Bike Ride. This year the ride includes over 40 riders cycling an impressive 500 miles in just five days from Coast to Coast, across Northern Spain from Bilbao to Sitges.
Straumann has raised over £150,000 from their Charity Bike Rides and intend to continue to raise even more for this year’s chosen charity ‘Dentaid UK.’

About this year’s charity
Dentaid in the UK:
In the UK, Dentaid provides free dental care for homeless and vulnerable people. Their mobile dental units visit hostels, day centres and night shelters providing emergency treatment for people who find it difficult to access dental care. They also provide dental care in areas where people are struggling to find a dentist and run clinics for refugees and asylum seekers, head and neck cancer patients, veterans, children in areas of social deprivation and victims of domestic violence.
Dentaid overseas:
Dentaid has worked in more than 70 countries providing safe, sustainable dental treatment in poor and remote communities. They support dentists around the world by providing equipment, running oral health programmes and sending teams of volunteer dental professionals to help them reach more patients.
DentaidBoxes are a fully portable dental surgery that can be used to provide care anywhere in the world.
